thought i would share what i got today fron thomas cook this morning changed £300 and got $1.50 to the pound not bad for the hight street

hi i got some yesterday at $1.50 too, from first choice, asked at all the local travel agents they were all offering the same rate but only first choice had enough travellers cheques plus i got a free underwater camera

I'm glad its gone up slightly, I'll have to think about buying some soon!

Which Thomas Cook Branch was that because I note from your location you live near me (I'm from Chorley) and I need to get some dollars soon. Did you have to haggle or was that the actual rate?

I too bought my $ yesterday from our local Thomas Cook and they matched the Thomas exchange rate if 1.51 we got 2 cash passport
cards and £500 in cash hopefully that will
be plenty as we have ddp and all
tickets are pre purchased etc!
