Champagne Truffles

This Christmas I have treated myself to some expensive Champagne truffles. My Husband has said that if I had got some cheaper ones would I have noticed the difference.

What do you think? We are thinking of doing a blind taste test

Where can you recommend to get some to trial?

Thanks

It's funny but we were never told chocolate was bad for dogs back in the day, and strangely it never seemed to harm them. I wonder if the changed ingredients is to do with it?

Like you we never knew and over the years they had plenty - my Grannie used to buy a box of chocolates for her dogs and her last one lived until she was 18 ! We used to give them mince pies too and the dried fruit didnt harm them - but again there was no advice not to back in the day ...

We looked it up, it would take 15 kilos of chocolate to kill my dog 😂 I mean he’s big, but not enormous. I weigh 3x what he does.
I think if I ate 45kg of chocolate I might die too
So we let him have a little bit of chocolate
