I don’t do big rides and there was nothing really for me to do. At least in Blackpool you only have a small entrance fee if you don’t go on the rides. Daughter and husband will go on anything though and they loved it !

My sons enjoy it but (now the youngest is tall enough) they’ll go on anything. Me and DH went on two rides then sat and waited for them for the rest of the day. Having said that, it was a nice day out and (as we used clubcard points) it cost us comparatively little. It is a lovely setting for a theme park and the gardens are still beautiful.

We’ve said we’ll take them up again for a day over summer, but we prefer Blackpool for a day out.
