Cheers for the opinions folks. There seems a clear winner to be honest.
Got QSDP, but we're there three weeks, so obviously need OoP meals to break that up. The list includes a few we've done before (Kobe, Miller's, Bahama Breeze, Hard Rock Cafe, Cheesecake Factory), some new (the Edison...), but we also wanted to try one of these two.

I voted Longhorns as we went there a few times when we were in Florida. I’ve never tried Outback over there, but have in the UK.

I've done Charlie's a few times but longhorns is def on the to-do list for this year's trip. I have done out back several times in the USA but only on work trips and not in Florida. Having said that I seem to remember there was one in the lake beuna vista palace (as it was then) but didn't rate it much.

Like most chains, it depends. Lately I've been in some pretty average Longhorn and pretty great Outback. None of these experiences were in Orlando though. Last year I went in an Applebee's of all places (normally avoid like the plague) in Pennsylvania, and this one was amazing.
I'd say that when Longhorn is at its best, and Outback is at its best, Longhorn does win. It's location specific and sometimes time specific.

We usually eat on the 192, used to be Outback fans but they've done up the restaurant on the 192 and it's not as good as it used to be. Lacks in atmosphere and on our last trip the food wasn't good, however we went to Longhorns for the first time and loved it. Went 3 times in all I think. Also, went to Texas Roadhouse and loved it too. We could see fireworks in Disney from the car park on the 192.
