Liverpool/Beatles trip.

Don't know what tour you already have booked but can thoroughly recommend fab four taxis - I live locally to Liverpool and was really impressed at the local knowledge incorporated into this tour.
If you are afternoon tea fans, the punk afternoon tea , at The Baltic Social is good with cocktails in teapots. The Panoramic is also supposed to do a great afternoon tea although its a bit more on the expensive side.

Do NOT go to the cavern ! If you do mark my words you will get carried away with the amazing atmosphere and will come out rather happy! Hubby and I went last year ( we don’t go out drinking much) planned on eating at a nice restaurant but ended up in Mc Donald’s ! Hubby spent next day in bed while I rattled around Liverpool! 😂 have to say what and amazing place it is! Enjoy.

Some Liverpool help please.
We’re meant to be heading tomorrow from Belfast, nothing has got cancelled but I want to know if I’m definitely allowed to travel into the city? Are there travel restrictions coming into place & when does the the restrictions start? Thank you, I don’t want to break any rules!

To be honest it's not clear.

Everywhere is open but you can't mix with different households.

It advises against non essential travel in.yhe area (guidance not law). It starts Saturday midnight.

I think you can still travel but only my opinion.

Thanks for replying, it’s all so confusing. I just found this on the Liverpool Echo page, as I’ve been frantically looking all evening!
We’re just coming over until Sunday & only doing the Beatles stuff, not interested in bars etc.

This frustrates me 😡

Government clearly say it starts midnight Saturday (see my link in previous post) . Which is the end of the day Saturday. All the local councils and press are reporting 00.01 Saturday so midnight Friday.

I have no issue with when it starts just wish it was reported correctly.
