Bought some bicarb of soda today for some cleaning. Said in the back it can be used to deodorise carpets. So I will try that.
I also discovered my steam mop has a carpet glider, so will run that over. Been reading reviews of rug doctors and been out of with carpets ruined 😳 Or machines not working prowling. Being Honest in too lazy 🤣 Not a clean as such but will |

You are spot on with that advice. We hired a Rug Doctor from our local Tesco and it ended in disaster.
We had a "Axminster" carpet and cleaned it. Looked very nice until after a few days we noticed a gap between the skirting boards and the carpet. We called a carpet fitter in to see if he could do anything but he told us we should never use those cleaners on these types of carpet as they shrink. Seek advice first. |
