It was an accident, I can understand her being upset at them being broken but you have gone to the trouble of replacing them so surely she will be grateful for your thoughtfulness and not at all angry. Just show her the broken ones tell her you know how much she loves them and give her the new ones, if she is angry then look for a new wife on EBay 😉😂

I'd say tell her. It's win win. Firstly she'll forgive and love you even more because you've gone to such lengths to replace them, and secondly she'll NEVER ask you to clean the kitchen again because you're so cack handed, like I said, win win😉
