Mobile Virgin Atlantic Videos/The Bubble

Hi all.

Long story short, my sister is getting married later this year in South Africa! There are only around 10 of us flying out, including my mum and dad, both nearly 60 and have only ever been on one flight to Spain and back again!
So, my mum is naturally fretting about the long flight a little bit.
Dad is a bit more relaxed.
I’ve travelled a lot so have put her mind at ease a fair bit, but would like to show her a basic Virgin Atlantic inflight video, so she can picture what to expect. I would have thought there might be one on Virgins website, but they’re isn’t as far as I can see.
Can anyone point me in the right direction?
Also, I see a lot of people talking about the bubble on Virgin flights. As there is only a handful of us, this may be quite nice. But how on earth do I book the bubble?
Thanks in advance! 😇

youtube is your friend for airline videos, for all classes and aircraft .

You can check your flight to see if there are economy seats on the upper deck (the bubble) through the VA site. If there are, you can select those seats and you will pay the fee at the end of the transaction online through VA.

I'd be very surprised if Virgin routinely use 747s to South Africa.

Really?

Not on July 11th they're not - it's an A350.

Sorry, read your reply again. Didn’t see that you mentioned the 747, thought you just said you’d be surprised if virgin flew to South Africa. Ok, never mind, didn’t realise the bubble was specific to the 747
