Advice on Cost of Fascias/Guttering

I have had a quote for replacement fascias/soffits and guttering and would welcome any experts' view on if it is a good price please

Property is 3 bed semi and for front and back comprising 2 Nr 6.6 metre lengths and also 1 Nr 5 metre length around bay window. Black fascias, white soffits, black round or square guttering/downpipes. Price quoted is £1,200 - is this ok?

My husband charges £50 a metre for white and £80 a metre in any colour and so I think this price works out ok if you go by his prices (he doesn't over charge people)

Can you get another quote just to compare? And does the company come recommended by someone you know? Just to be on the safe side.

Price seems ok to me. Bear in mind black loses its colour in the sun (if we ever get any) so you may wish to bear that in mind.
Half round is a faster flow in my view but that’s just a personal opinion.
Now for haggle mode! Aim for a grand.

I do know the guy (albeit not very well) and he has said that he has given me "mates' rates"

I've been told this as well re the coloured ones and that they are also more likely to warp.

Our square ones have all been overflowing the last few weeks despite dh clearing all the downpipes (also square)so we are thinking of replacing them with round/half round!

With those 2 prices to guide me I'm going to try and get ours quoted for as well, thanks!
