OLCI , help please
We are flying out later this week and have never flown Virgin before. We have booked Economy Delight and reserved seats - 24hrs before we can check in online ... If we don’t manage this are our seats still reserved if we check in on arrival at airport?
What are the advantages of doing the OLCI apart from saving time at the check in desk . Are more seats released ? Would be grateful for any advice on the process. Edited at 10:00 PM. |

Saves time at the airport.
Yes, your seats are still reserved. Are you hoping better seats become available? This would only happen if someone changed their seats, so unlikely. |

On line check in opens 24 hours before your flight, pre booked seating is not usually changed but it does happen occasionally.

You check in by clicking on the words 'Check in' in the main menu which is at the top of the web page, where the main menu on most web sites (including the Dibb's) can be found! Should've gone to Specsavers!
Check in is a multi-step process where you confirm your details, seats, luggage and provide the API. Virgin don't make a big issue of API, like other airlines seem to do, as it is just a basic part of check in. Airlines don't submit the data to the US until take off, so don't need this data months in advance. |
