Where best to collect car on Disney?

We’re hiring a car for our offsite week. We’ll spend one week on site POFQ and then pick up the car and go to our second hotel. Then we’ll want to return the car to SFB airport. It would be useful if the car hire place could pick us up from POFQ too.
We’re also considering getting a car for a day when we land instead of an uber to POFQ from SFD, so again it would be good to drop it off at Disney. I know there’s the car hire centre but don’t know if Dolphin etc would be better?

It probably doesn’t matter either way. If you chose the Car Care Centre they’ll come and collect you from POFQ. I presume they do at the Dolphin too.

There’s a car hire place at the Dolphin which I’m guessing the OP meant. We’ve used it , it was fine but staying at PO the car Centre with pick up is just as convenient.

For getting from the airport I’d far rather either use the free DME or use Uber or Lyft than mess about picking up a car when tired from a long flight and possible long immigration queue though.

It will depend on who you book your car with. Alamo is the company at the car care centre near MK and they will pick you up from anywhere in WDW. Avis can be picked up at a couple of hotels in Disney including ones in the Disney Springs area although they won't come and get you.

OP. I assume you have a typo and mean SFB not SFD

If so I would get a 1 day hire from Alamo Sanford to Disney Car Care Centre.

When you drop it off the free Alamo minibus will take you to your Disney Hotel or a Park. Your choice.

Then a second hire for the week and again get the free Minibus to collect you either at your Hotel or a Park.

There are at least a dozen 3rd party suppliers that can rent an Alamo car to you so there is a fair bit of research needed ref prices/car sizes/drivers required etc.

Any help you want please ask.

Thanks! Yes I meant SFB. The magical express isn’t an option as it doesn’t run from there. There’s 6 of us and probably 4 cases plus hand luggage so I think it would have to be two Ubers or a 7 seater car hire. I know there’s uber xl but I think they only guarantee 6 seats?

Ahh the Tetris game with cases. But achievable.

Just a quick 2 min look and with Alamo for that trip £88
But with Hertz which you can drop at Bonnet Creek near OKW only £52

$5 for an Uber from there to POFQ
