TUI into Sanford
Hi!
Has anyone done this route? We were looking for Man-Mco on Virgin but can’t get it direct so have found flights Gla-SFD with TUI. Just wondering if anyone has any comments about it? I know we won’t get the magical express and will have to get a taxi/uber to Disney, but it would still work out cheaper and means a direct flight. |

We have done it many times. Its fine, the immigration is quieter than MCO but they are slow to get the baggage off the plane. Its a small airport so not much there on the way back shopping / eating wise. Tui are great to fly with and the Dreamliner is a very comfortable aircraft.

Thanks! I just went to book it and the price has gone up £240 in the last ten mins. I tried from DH’s phone in case it was my cookies from looking a few times but the price is still higher!

Keep checking, prices can sometimes rise at the weekend and then fall during the week.

Whilst I have never flown from Glasgow, I have flown TUI into Sanford.
1. Beautiful, modern B787 Dreamliner in really nice, restful cabin colours. 2. Sanford is a great, uncrowded, simple airport to negotiate. 3. In the event of driving (you clearly are not), it is a reLly nice graduated drive.. deserted road, country road, then I4. I like this ‘bedding in’. 4. In travel time, not much further than MCO when getting to the Davenport area.

If you can get a good price update to Premium it's so much better than Virgin. If they flew all year I would not fly any other way.

If you're not driving you should be able to book a TUI bus transfer to the hotel.

We flew into Sanford in Aug. Nice little airport. Straight through no long queue at immigration. We booked a package so had transfer included. Also booked another package for 2021.

We flew into Sanford from Bristol a couple of year ago and are going again next year. Lovely plane, small airport, quiet we were the only flight to land so managed to clear immigration in about 25 minutes. In 2017 we had to pay for the TUI transfer but next year it's free to WDW, assume something to do with no Magical Express if we were flying into MCO? Only thing I'd say is not much in the airport on your way home if you're thinking of doing shopping.
