Hiya RR, I finally got chance to sit and look at the new eaglet today, plus with the other egg pipping it could now be a very happy/productive season for H & M15 It's nice to see a smidge of good news in the worlds current, very worrying, circumstances.
Just in case Dibbers don't want to scroll back to find links: Bald eagles, Ft Myers nest HERE NE Florida baldies nest HERE

WOW, Gabrielle's eaglets in the NE Fl nest are looking so big and healthy, they'll be branching soon, then flying the nest, but coming back to demand food, before off-ski on their own.

These eaglets are both strong and growing, fast! No sign of any bonking yet, long may it stay that way, it seems both are getting their fair share of the kills brought to the nest. Harriet is currently feeding them ROAD KILL, classy Harriet, real classy

WOW, Harriet has brought a large heron to the nest and is repeatedly trying to feed the eaglets big bones! Hell, if she can't get them down the eaglets stand no chance. Be interested to know if the heron was already dead (road kill et al) vs her having killed it. See HERE

Gabrielle's eaglets, HERE, in the NE Fl nest are big, they're branching and it won't be long before they begin to fly. A tad brutal with food, an adult brought a fish about 10 mins ago and the eaglet in the nest fair snatched it, protected it with it's wings and screeched until the adult flew off. The other eaglet is there now but so far it remains harmonious, not sure if that'll continue if the second eaglet tries for some food!
Harriett and M15's eaglets are doing very well, HERE.

The NE Fl baldies, live cam HERE, have both flown but are returning to the nest demanding their parents feed them... it'll not be too long before Gabby and Samson will cut the cord completely.
The two chicks belonging to Harriet and M15, live cam HERE, in Nth Ft Myers have thrived and grown so quickly, one is 'testing' their wings in the nest so branching will soo begin. I wasn't sure how this late pair of hatchlings would fare as the weather was so hot, seems they were a hardy pair

Just checked in on Harriet and M15 to see if they were getting ready for a new clutch of eggs only to see E15 is still there, I guess they've made life too cosy for her and she doesn't want to go
