My pic on this thread was taken with a tiny little Canon Ixus 800IS - the only editing was a slight crop and probably a sharpen (Im a sucker for the sharpen tool! ). You dont need a fancy camera to get good fireworks pics - the golden rule is you need to be still. This pic was taken with the camera resting on the iron fence that circles the lake - i braced it against the side so it remained rock solid and this allowed everything to stay crisp.

Thanks Allie the one i entered was taken by DS 11 and he just kept snapping to get a few good ones.

He's well into taking photos so it's great when he gets a good one.
