1st time Anaheim!

dw - Me, Julia, the disney fan in the household but not the big rides, well not even Big Thunder Mountain or Pirates of the Caribbean Just love the atmosphere

dh - Neil, suggested I needed some pixie dust, and found a deal to Anaheim!

ds - Euan, 15, unsure about rides especially without his partner in crime dd Eilidh 21 who couldn't come with us due to work

Booked a last minute Virgin package to Anaheim staying at the Sheraton Park Hotel overlooking Disneyland. We have had a rough 8 months with losing my dad and trying to sort out his affairs. Dh was unsure whether he could get holiday from work and this was the only week he could manage.

Having read lots of the trip reports especially travelmam who stayed in the same hotel and didn't move around, we have a rough itinerary:

Friday 10th fly out with Virgin on VS007 (cue JB theme) OLCI done and we've got seats in the bubble, so excited and some of the apprehension I was feeling about the length of flight is disappearing

We have meet and greet parking booked at Heathrow and our plan is to power through when we arrive in LA and try to beat the jet lag!

Saturday 11th possibly do one of our disney days - we have 3 day hoppers

Sunday, Monday - no plans

Tuesday 14th - off to Miramar for a base tour!

Other plans include Warner Bros studio tour as ds is a great Big Bang Theory fan, possibly San Diego Zoo, further 2 disney days, some shopping and a trip to the beach and hills, so not a restful holiday.
