Tesco clubcard vouchers & Hard Rock Hotel

We just booked a club room at HRH for August 2020. On my phone it was coming up that no rooms were available even though they had been yesterday but when I looked on the PC they were still available. Used £40 of vouchers and room cost around 460 for 2a and 2c (13 and 10). This was for 2 nights.

Eh? How do cheap? I haven’t been able to get less than £375 per night for a standard room!

The club room at HRH was coming up just £10 more than 2 night in standard and less than a club at RPR. Which was 580. £40 Of club card points gives you £120 voucher which takes the price down to 460.

depends when in August you're looking for. We usually get 2 nights for 400 pounds in late August but this year we're going a bit earlier and it's 650...

I have clicked on the hotels.com link from the Tesco Clubcard website but none of the universal hotels with free fast pass come up as ones you can enter Tesco code against. I have called Tesco Clubcard and they confirmed that the vouchers cannot be used at these hotels from hotels.com
Am I missing a trick here?
The guy said it’s only those that have green box at side saying enter Tesco voucher code and those hotels don’t.

I have just tried to book RPR using tesco club card vouchers and the code didn’t work. I called hotels.com who told me that all the universal deluxe hotels have been excluded from using the tesco vouchers!

Farce. Tesco are reducing the value of CC points all the time!

We saved our vouchers for over a year to use at Universal and the deluxe hotels aren't included. Tesco have reduced the list of eligible hotels recently.

Oh no, that's so annoying as they were included only a month ago when we booked ours! Time to stop saving Clubcard points, I guess...
