4th of July Fireworks

Hi Guys,

Gonna be in the Kissimmee area for the 4th of July and would love to go to a non-Disney fireworks display. Can anybody recommend a local community based event. Any and all suggestions would be appreciated.

Cheers

Also interested, DisDubs, as we are looking around for somewhere to see fireworks like you at a local community based display preferably

Also deciding if or not to see a 4th July parade earlier in the day!

Exciting!

The couple of times we have been there on 4th July we have gone to Celebration, but don’t know if they still do it. Parked near the hospital and got the park and ride, then walked back later.

Just noticed this thread. We went to Thunder on the Ridge at Lake Eva in Haines City. They have a facebook page. They have bands that play throughout the day, food stalls and craft stalls etc, and a play area for kids. They also have drink stands so you can enjoy a wee beer while enjoying the day! Then at night a fab fireworks display out on the lake. Proper authentic 4th July celebration. We loved it. Absolutely recommend looking into it

We watched them from the large bridge which you cross coming over from sand key area in Clearwater, ana big view and great display, slightly annoyed with the police car going up and down both sides saying you couldn’t sit in the wall in the bridge, seemed pretty petty to me
