As our only pet has already been photographed and shown and I could find no more gruesome spiders in the garden this morning I decided to take some pics of our cows. Well they're not exactly ours but they work as a reliable alarm clock at 7.30am in the field behind us. The youngsters are around at the moment but none would co-operate and do the decent thing and face the right way, however I like this picture as it shows Mother and calf together feeding and shows off the Lancashire landscape.

Great picture Danny.
So much "Rule of Thirds" stuff going on there it is really pleasing to the eye. The bits of tree's framing the moo-cows work brillianty too. |

Great piccy Mark, I recognise the Giant Turtle pen there, you can just see a couple of them in the background =)
If you'll permit me, I can offer a couple of tips for you. Click here for a tutorial on Cropping that I wrote using a picture that started out just like this one. If you use the program describe there, there is a "Enhance Colours..." option on the "Image" menu, which you can use to turn up the brightness a little. I think if you crop out this area from your original large copy, and up the brightness a tad, you can make a great picture better! Hope this helps you further your hobby! |

I also decided the monkeys who were inspecting each others bottoms wouldn't be a good one to post - lol
