I really wanted to be in the city near the shops lol! I have no idea how far things are from the hotel! I'd rather have too many days at Disney really :-)

Make sure that you book up a studio tour in LA. We were incredibly lucky to walk up to the last Warner Bros tour of the day and it was just fantastic. We tried to do another tour but everywhere else was fully booked up so no luck!

I'd also recommend the Movies Tour bus in San Francisco and a trip over the bridge to Muir Woods/Sausolito if you have the time is worth doing.

We aren't driving so public transport everywhere! With the go la card we get paramount & Warner tours. We haven't much time in San fran really. Once I've redone the itinerary I'll post it but we land the weds at 1.35. Thursday it's Walt museum, fri it's Alcatraz then sat we fly to la! I guess depends how long they take as I'd like to go round pier 39 :-)
