We did the chocolate factory tour. Loved it.

... and (I know this sounds a little crazy), their "Frozen Hot Chocolate" is amazing!

If you go to Blue Springs, stop at TooJays (1 block off the expressway on Lake Mary Blvd) and pick up some sandwiches for a picnic. Pure delight.

Did you pick up some "misshapes". (Delish chocolates, not quite good enough for the boxes).

If you got to St. Augustine in an hour I'd be looking for a speeding ticket in the mail.. It takes me an hour and I'm 40 miles closer (and have a lead foot )

Agree with St. Augustine, it's our all time favorite place, but it's going to take closer to 2 hours.

No, I didn't see those. Anyway, we'd already gorged ourselves on all the samples on the tour.

Yes I agree, took us almost exactly 2 hours to get to St Augustine - however it was well worth the journey

More (ish) than an hour.

I would allow two unless you are in a Ferrari.

This year for our days out we went surfing at Cocoa had a lesson at Ron Jon surf school, Daytona beach and hired jet ski's on the Halifax River, a boat trip at Winter Park, hired bikes at Lake Louisa state park and went kayaking at shingle creek, also air boat ride at wild florida
Previous years went to Crystal River to snorkel with manatees, visited Homosassa state park, horse riding at forever florida, went to the Giraffe ranch had a camel ride, fed giraffes and you can wash a rhino. Clearwater beach and visited winter at the aquarium. Went on an air boat on the St john's River with Bill's airboats ( I must say this was much better than wild florida, as it was a private one and saw loads of wild life).

Hi We also love St Augustine, we have stayed overnight there on at least 10 occasions,
we always stay somewhere different from Victorian style B & B's to the Hilton opposite the bridge of lions, we stayed at the Hilton when it had only been open a couple of months. It does take nearer to 2 hours to get there though as said previously.
