I tend to wear shoes and trainers until they're not good enough to wear going out any more. Then they generally go by the conservatory door shoe pile, where they become footwear for the garden.

I was having trouble walking after the 4KM mark my left knee would ache. I bought a pair of sketchers archfit. They don't look great but man have they fixed my knee. I need to make an appointment with a specialist but for 80€ what a difference. I'm wearing them 24.7 at the moment.

All in all I've around 6-10 pairs of footwear.

I wear boots from September to April/ May, have my ‘Nana ‘ boots ( flat) and going out / shopping boots with a heel, and walking boots.

One pair of trainers , 4 pairs of dressy sandals bought for various weddings which double up as going out shoes in the summer, and for Florida I always where Sketchers wedge mules for walking around the parks. Can’t wear flip flops and don’t really like flat footwear unless looking after DGD.

Used to be able to wear 6inch stilettos, now it puts too much pressure on my 60 yr old hip joints and I no longer put myself through that!

DH has less than 10, two pairs of ‘utility’ type shoes, walking boots, ‘dress’ shoes for going out , sketchers trainers for holidays ( new pair every year)

Well this made me count up! Female and I voted 31-50 if that includes all types of shoes etc. My high heel days are behind me, so I have a lot of flat ballerina type shoes of various colours / designs, and sandals, with a few kitten heels thrown in, a couple of pairs of Vans and winter boots.
DH has dressy black and brown; blue suede loafers (never yet worn but often admired in the box); 2 pairs flip flops, walking boots, wellies, fishing waders and 5 pairs of Paul Smith etc casual shoes.

I have:

3 pairs of converse
1 pair of unbranded trainers
1 pair of sketchers
1 pair of wellington boots
1 pair of walking boots
3 pairs of black boots
4 pairs of heels

These are what I wear. I also have a bag of shoes in the loft that I don’t wear as I can’t walk in heels anymore.
