Problem with Amazon try before you buy

Has anyone had problems using Amazon try before you buy? I used to be able to use it with no trouble but since my bank introduced more authorising of payments I’m having trouble. It comes up to authorise, I do that through my banking app which accepts it and then I go back to Amazon and complete the order. But I then get an email saying another payment method is needed. I’ve checked with my bank and they say there’s no problem their end. Anyone else had this and found a way round it?

I can only use a credit card now, not debit card? Would that be the same for you?

That’s weird as I tried to use this a couple of months ago with credit card and it wouldn’t work so thought it had to be debit.

That's weird? It's definitely my credit card as I don't like using it unless I have to, so I was annoyed!

I'm having issues with Amazon Subscribe and Save recently.

I get some household items delivered once a month but the card authorisations seem to happen in the middle of the night. With these extra security checks I keep getting items cancelled.

I have 2 credit cards linked to my Amazon account and it used to automatically switch to the back up card but now seems to just cancel stuff.

Yes this is with my credit card, it doesn’t allow debit cards. At least it seems like I’m not the only one 😕
