We were in Edinburgh at Easter and had a great time, went to the Castle and museum and did some shopping.
We did the Ghost Bus which leaves outside Deacon Brodies pub on the Royal Mile, it was great fun!
We went to see a show as well.

We also go to Glasgow quite a bit and always enjoy it. Love Kelvingrove museum, Dali's portrait of Christ on the cross is worth a trip on its own.

Enjoy!

Clearly I'm severely biased but time in Glasgow should not be limited You could spend a day in the West End alone. Brunch at Tribeca, stroll down to the Art Gallery, couple of hours in there. Grab a coffee from literally anywhere, maybe a donut from Tantrum donuts if you like them. Wander through the park. Stroll round Park Circus and feel dirt poor Nip into all the little shops. Head back down to Mother India's Cafe for dinner. Grab a drink (again, anywhere). Look up, the buildings are phenomenal, I still find new things when I'm out and about.
Do the same round the Southside - start in Cafe Strangebrew, Queens Park, snacks from Big Bear or Deanston Bakery. Lots of little charity shops and coffee shops. Dinner anywhere, drinks in Church on the Hill.

We did the ghost bus as well, it was fab, the tour guide was fantastic. We were running about graveyards at night 😂

I’m not in the slightest bit squeamish ! I’ve always fancied visiting a medical museum, thanks for the idea.

EDITED
Having read the earlier post about the ghost tour, I realise that I AM squeamish about ghosts !
