Polynesian renting points

Hi,
We have never rented DVC points so not sure how it works. I would like to stay in Polynesian for 2 nights next July. Could anyone give me an idea of how to go about this and estimate how much it would cost renting DVC points from someone. Thank you for any advice/help.

Before buying DVC I rented from on here.

Someone that owns at the Poly can book at 11 months out. So for next July depending on dates, August. Anyone owning at any other resort can only book at 7 months out.

The number of points you require will depend on the days of the week.

Average cost per point, rough estimate £14 per point, going on what people are offering this year.

Poly is fairly easy to get, particularly in July, so you could be OK with anyone renting on 7 months exactly for you, albeit if you can get a Poly owner at 11 months all the better.
DIBB has a DVC points calculator if you search so put in your dates and see points, then multiply by £15 per point to get approximate cost (or accurate cost, depends on how much the renter wants).

If you can't get any on here then Dave's DVC request is one, the Dis has one that they own with Timeshare Store but just know that you do have options
