Universal Tickets ID Required

I just got our USH tickets and it says ID/biometrics are necessary to enter the park. Has anyone had this before? What did you do?

Usually the one who booked the tickets needs to show ID if you’re picking them up from will call and they register your fingerprint on your first entry like Disney.
That’s pretty much it, ticket scan and finger print for entry after that.

If there is any problem with your fingerprint on future visits, they can ask for ID. Children would be different but adults here pretty much do carry picture ID even if they aren't drivers. I would take a photo of my passport at lesst if I didn't have a licence on me.

A couple of weeks ago at USH they scanned our tickets and scanned our fingerprints but did not ask for ID. I always carry my driving licence though just in case. The only ID someone in the queue actually had to show was their military/veteran ID.

We were there last week and as above, they scanned our tickets and took only my finger prints (as I had purchased them). Didn't have to show any I.D. On side note, if you leave the park but want to come back they stamp your arm, however these stamps won't show up if you go for a swim, so make sure you take a photo of you in the park before you leave as they accept this as an alternative
