Car hire vs transfers in LA

We’ll be flying into LAX, staying 2 nights at Hilton Universal City, onto Anaheim for 3 nights then back to LAX to fly to Hawaii.

Last time we had a car for the first few days then returned it in Anaheim before collecting another to drive back to LAX. I think the hire costs and parking must have been prohibitive as we were only there 3 nights and would have kept the car otherwise.

I’m wondering now if we’d be better off booking transfers or using Uber instead.

As it’s the parks we’re there for we won’t use the car once we get to the hotels.

If using transfers can anybody give a recommendation?

I did exactly the same as you on my January 2022 trip , Lax to Hilton Universal, Hilton Universal to Anaheim, Anaheim to LAX. I used Midwilshuttle and had no issues. Each trip cost approx $100 plus trip. The car was a black town car.

I used Midwilshuttle again on my June 2022 trip.

They send a notification to tell you the car is on the way. I paid by card at my destination. I told them I was international and would not have cell service. I told them to contact me by email or WhatsAp.
