First holiday in three years…

We leave in the early hours tomorrow. Not Florida sadly, that holiday planned for 2020 still hasn’t happened. This is simply a week in sicily but we need this so much. Heat, food, just the airport has us all stupidly excited already.
I genuinely thought yesterday I had forgotten how to pack! But I’ve got my mojo back this morning and I’m now sat in the sun watching the netball and allowing my brain to think of those last minute things. Almost tempted to do a trippie.

Content just knowing tomorrow it’s our turn. Anyone else had the giddyness of getting back to exploring the world…

We were like this a few weeks ago for Florida, but also super nervous because of the airport, check in, documents etc
I was re leaved when we were on the plane, but once through immigration etc at the other side and got into the hire car I went woo hoo we are here and the holiday began

We went to Tenerife last month, our first trip abroad since Italy in 2019. I was getting so stressed before we went, convinced I’d forgotten something and all the way to the airport still couldn’t relax, particularly as flying with Easy Jet who has been pulling flights even when people had already boarded. However, we had an absolutely amazing time, I’d forgotten absolutely nothing and had a truly relaxing and enjoyable holiday. I think the pandemic has brought about a lot more anxiety in people but try and relax and you’ll have an amazing holiday I’m sure

Have an amazing time - we’re off to Florida in 19 days and I’m almost giddy at the thought of it! Not just because it’s Florida, but because it’s a holiday and getting away from the norm! I can’t wait to get to the airport!
