Osteria Champions Gate
A lovely independant Italian eatery
We dined there on Monday evening Everything was freshly cooked good sizes portions and reasonably priced We had a portion of calimari with garlic bread between three of us I had sea bass with risotto, friends had chicken Parmesan and the other meatballs they shared a portion of cannolis It’s not a huge menu but everything was fresh and beautifully presented It’s on the same side as First Watch the next strip mall down has outside dinning as well and plenty parking behind You can view the menu on line from here as Kids menu was chicken strips and fries cheese pizza and spaghetti and meat balls Edited at 06:06 PM. |

We try to eat in smaller independant places now when it’s just us although the grandkids loved Harry’s Place , Dora’s and Cherry Pocket Harbour side and food trucks across from old town
But as I said In our trip updates they are human dustbins They will do half portions for kids if asked But as it’s freshly cooked allow a bit of time and there is no,pressure to eat up and free a table as it’s not well know by tourists so you all keep it to yourself Edited at 08:56 PM. |

One to compete with Carrabbas's - our usual Italian choice. Mick

Mick I’d say even better I’ve rarely tasted such beautiful see bass or risotto as light as it was
As I said you just need to set aside a little bit of time as it’s cooked to order |

Mick i used Earnie Caldwell then Pine tree Trail on to Ronald Reagan then on to Champion Gate
Much quicker than the i4 But on the way home the I4 as it was easier So you’d be likely best to head south and on to Ronald Reagan off the 27 rather than the 192 / old lake Wilson Road route |

We use the country lanes way to get to Champions Gate from Highgate Park Straight over the 27 on to Florence Villa Grove Road and straight over at the school to North Goodman Road which becomes South Goodman which brings us to CG from the north near Millers. It's quite a windy 2 lane unlit country lane so would be dark in November though at dinner time. Or we could use Bella Citta at the new Publix which also brings us in near Millers Mick
