Really lovely day, and a fab way for Thomas to celebrate his birthday. I'm not surprised you were emotional seeing the castle after so many cancellations. How lovely to be there finally.

The Magic Kingdom - great choice for a birthday! (Main Street always makes me feel a bit teary, too.)

Noah was definitely in Magic kingdom mode! I LOVE this photo!

You took some beautiful photos today and the photopass shots were really worth it.

Even, though I'm sad about a lot of what's happening at Disney recently, when I read reports like yours and see the photos, I do still get a hankering! ...Good to have got on Splash before they change it. And I'm convinced that Buzz is randomly scored! Thomas obviously has great taste - I'm a fan of the C of P.

You had a busy day - treats, rides, shopping , characters - and in the heat, I'm not surprised Noah crashed! [ (Frustrating about the wifi and app problems, though.)

I hope it was a fun, memorable birthday for Thomas.

I couldn't think of a better way to spend a birthday It really is so emotional, even in 'normal' times but this time it was extra special, hopefully not long for you <3 xx

He really was, we were all so excited and still felt like a dream we were actually there, in fact the whole holiday did.

I honestly thought I would struggle with the changes (no character hugs or autographs) but to be honest it wasn't too bad, so happy they're back now though and people can hug their favourite characters.

I just think I'm clearly amazing at Buzz Chris has just put the vlog on YouTube, Thomas couldn't believe it, his face is a picture

I've just asked him and he said he had an amazing day x

I love all the family photos you had taken today and you managed to get loads of rides done too. We love SDMT but agree that it is not worth the queues it gets. Your dinner in T Rex looks really nice. It's not somewhere we've ever tried. Antibacs for just $1 was a great deal.
