Pickup from Manchester

Due to collect DS from Manchester T1 late tonight. Any suggestions at best way / cheapest way please.Appreciate will have to pay the Ł5 five minute cost but don’t want to be stuck waiting for him and wrack up the ŁŁŁŁ. Thought we could wait for a call from him at a nearby coffee outlet but can’t seem to find one that’s open at 11pm.

Get him to walk over the sky walk to the front of the train station.
Ask him to call you and pick him up from there for no cost.
The petrol station has a forecourt you can park on. The taxis use this area

I am pretty sure drop off/pick up charges apply now at the train station too.
Personally I would park up near the row of shops in Heald Green then drive over to the station when your son calls you. Its only a 5 minute drive from there.
