Question Dollar PlatePass.

Hi all.

We're using Dollar in September and its our first trip back since the tolls went fully electronic. We've "Skipped the Counter" so can go straight to the garage, and I was going to use the Visitor Toll Pass, but if Dollar have their own system, I could just use that and bypass VTP.

Anyone used Dollar PlatePass and if so, what was it like? Trying to get an idea of costs.

Thanks

Pete

Last time we used Dollar it was really expensive. If you're only driving a bit around Orlando and to/from the airport I wouldn't use anything, just pay the tolls at the time. If you're going to be travelling around a little, the VTP will be a lot cheaper than Dollar.

Visitor Toll Pass is really easy to use, I’d definitely go with that and cheaper tolls with it

Dollar's inclusive rate is over $10 a day. That's like driving from MCO down to the I-4 on the 417 and back every day.

Do you anticipate passing through around 6 tolls every day?

VTP is the way to go assuming you're into MCO .
