... Thats beacuse it is wrong!...No waiter deserves $40-50 from one small table,esp now with the world being poorer, and people cannot afford to throw away their hard earned cash in that extravagant way!

Just come back and we made all tips in cash with the exception of Longhorns as this was just over $50 (We were a family of 10 and bill $250)

Yeah - that is why I asked. To be honest we probably won’t even go to a buffet but when we were last in a GC it was probably around 15 years ago and we used to leave a Dollar under every plate for our party. I just wanted to know what is normal now, that’s all.
