Mobile Buses to Universal from hotels

Next time we go we are staying at Endless Summer, for lots of reasons but mainly for their constant buses to the parks. It hadn't ever occurred to me that people stay near to the hotel so they can use the transport aswell! Do you think this is something that they will start looking into or do you think theyre really not bothered? I could have saved us a few hundred pounds if I knew you could do this, but it would be just my luck if we stayed nearby and they suddenly started checking people's room keys or something!

We stayed at endless summer (surfside) in 2019 and the buses were always really quiet. They didn’t ask for any proof at the time that we were staying there. You obviously get the bonus of early entry but I suppose it’s if you will utilise that. We didn’t get up early enough for the parks for the early entry but did for volcano bay and that was good!

Hotel Reviews: 1
We stayed at Surfside in May and always got to IOA for early entry.
Pretty much everyone I saw getting on the bus that time of morning came out of the hotel some had been in the same lift as us down to reception.
There were possibly people from other hotels using the buses but unless they ask for proof you’re staying in the hotel you wouldn’t know.

I would imagine they know it’s going on but it’s probably not that many people doing it and if they’re going to Universal it probably doesn’t bother them.
I suppose they could start checking at any time if they become concerned about it

I know when you go to the parks for early entry that they see your room key, but nothing for buses. I suppose disney don't either but that's very different and everyone knows you do it there!

I don’t think they would care, they just want the max people going to the parks and spending money there 🤷🏻

Yeah they won’t care, just like they don’t care who takes the boats, the idea being it’s an incentive for you to go explore a hotel and spend money there. Anybody can use Disney transport too, presumably for similar reasons. The Endless Summer resorts look pretty self contained though even though they’re on I-drive, it looks like they’re almost completely fenced off apart from the entrance to the parking garages and the main entrance the buses use, presumably to try and dissuade people from going to/from non-universal attractions on I-drive.
