Dragon pass & lounge access - word of warning
Hello.
Due out on the infamous BA209 this afternoon. I pre-loaded my dragon pass app with the cunning plan of using the Plaza Premium Lounge in terminal 5 to kill a bit of time caused by the cancellation and re-booking (much earlier) of my connecting flight. However, on arrival I was told it was at capacity and had my name added to a list and to come back later. It was hinted that it would be unlikely we would get in at all. We duly tried a little later and we actually got in, although I was told it was still full (it was no busier than usual). I don’t believe you can pre-book the Plaza lounge using the dragon pass or indeed any other pre-paid membership scheme (I stand to be corrected) so just wanted to warn anyone who may be on the fence about this. See you all on the other side. Edited at 12:14 PM. |

Hi,
I'm on the same flight in a couple of weeks and had the same idea. I did manage to pre-book on the dragon pass app though for free, so hoping I'll be able to get in. Once you were in how was it? I've heard mixed reviews. Have a fab holiday |

We are precooked using dragon Pass for Friday. It was free so booked it as somewhere to go as the flight seems as unreliable as Virgin were at Gatwick for keeping time.

Just sat waiting to depart.
It was ok. Food choice was a little meh and the drink choice was limited but nice to be away from the hustle and bustle. You’ll have to let me know how you booked a slot using the dragon pass. Thanks and hope you have a fab time too. |

I did it via the App. From memory I think it did look like it was going to charge me, but once I clicked through to confirm it changes to £0.00. Hope that helps. Thanks for the feedback on the lounge, sounds like it'll be worth it to be away from the hustle and bustle.
Thanks |
