Haven't bothered, worked since Christmas without a break. Looking forward to having a holiday in about a years time if we're lucky. Feels like I'm running a hotel with 3 grown up children moving back home & working here too due to covid. It brings new meaning to the cry Houskeeping .. And feel like Mrs Overall with the endless tea breaks & a kitchen which is now more like a catering establishment😂

We've had a few shorts UK breaks, starting with Whitby, then Wales and York, recently a night in London.
Still have a three night break family break in Market Harborough from this weekend. We have Croatia booked for mid October but I'm not banking on that going ahead yet.

So far it’s an almost perfect 80/20 split, not sure I expected that if I’m honest x

1st time away from the house in two years and we went to Lytham St Annes, I am sure that given the right weather its a lovely seaside resort with beautiful beaches.
We had rain and wind the whole time apart from the last morning for about 4 hours. We had wet clothes drying constantly in I am sure the smallest room for four people you could find. Cold and wind I can cope with just pile on the layers but wet as well. And to top it all off I actually paid for this! Edited at 11:32 AM. |
