Spectrolee - Day 5 - The Fingers Crossed Trip Disney Springs and Whispering Canyon

Good morning Mr Rabbit

Masks are still required on buses (and monorail/skylines)
They do remind you before you get on, and the buses have spares just in case anyone forgets their own ones

Matt and Eva took the kids to the Lego shop while the rest of us got in line for a table at Homecomin
We were seated right away once it opened (at 11am)
We asked for, and got a lovely table outside.

Starting the day with a blueberry mimosa

The food here is absolutely fantastic
Gary, Davie, Isabel and I shared 6 appetisers between us
2 x chicken and biscuits
2 x fried green tomatoes
2 x shrimp cocktails

Eva had the chicken meal

Matt had the Chopped Pork BBQ plate

Trying on sparkly hats

Gary's in a band that wear quite a lot of sparkle, he might come back again to purchase this gold sparky bucket hat

Having a lovely stroll at the Springs

Quick stop in Sephora for some lip stains

Back to Wilderness Lodge for a swim

The Boulder Ridge Cove pool is our favourite. It is zero entry, so the kids have a huge area they can stand and swim in. They absolutely love it here. There are also pina colada's nearby for me, Eva and Isabel haha!

Cornbread to start off

Between the 6 of us we ordered 4 x Traditional 1 x The Pig and 1 x Land and Sea skillets
Joni had chicken strips with apples and salad
Ed just had some fries

We headed down to the boat dock just as the geyser erupted to head back over to Magic Kingdom for a few rides

The fireworks had just started

The captain took us out to a good viewing spot on the lake on the way over

We rode Splash Mountain which Joni decided she no longer enjoyed, then Ed decided he no longer liked Big Thunder Mountain
We bought a refill for our popcorn bucket and called it a night.
