Do adults need PCR tests ? We are all over 18 with boosters.

We did Brittannia a few years ago. We did one formal night and then the 2nd we opted not to dress up and we ate in the buffet. There were plenty of people doing the same.

They changed the rules a few days ago. After 29th april, day we get back then you have to pay for your own tests. Think they are the lft ones and do it the day before and it gives you a fit to fly certificate or something. The kids also have to do this then they will get a second test at the terminal but all are lft not pcr as far as I’m reading.

It’s all a bit confusing really.

We like the dressing up bit. Well the kids do and hubby. I’m not really into dresses but my girls want to be little princesses every night so that’s what we are doing even on none formal nights. We don’t do the buffet much apart from lunch sometimes. Find it so hard to find a table!

We did a two week Caribbean cruise on Britannia in 2017. Amazing ship. It was our first ever cruise so we decided to splash out on a suite with two balconies. We’re just working class folk from the north east so dressing for dinner wasn’t really our style but we made good use of the 24 hour buffet. Funniest thing was our suite came with a butler! He kept bringing us bowls of fruit and trays of fancy hors d'oeuvres which none of us liked. He got a bit miffed when I asked if he had any crisps.

I’ve heard that about the butlers. Think I’d find them weird lol

We are from Yorkshire, hubby originally in steel works so not usual dress up people but we’ve found that it gives us an excuse to be different from how we usually are. Would never have thought that before the first cruise.
