My cake stands only have two tiers, apparently in this situation it is ok to serve the scones on a totally different plate! So it is cakes and petit fours on the top tier and sandwiches on the bottom tier for me then.

This would be for 8 adults and 5 teenagers. Is there anything you would add that I may have missed? I’ve got cake stands and bunting and I thought I would do lots of mini vases of fresh flowers, fingers crossed the weather is ok.

Going with a red,white & blue theme any suggestions for blue?
I’m doing Elton mess with raspberries & blueberries and found some blue jammy dodgers which the kids will love but other than frosting/icing on cakes/cookies struggling with ideas for the blue

What about blue jelly with whipped cream and strawberries or raspberries. You could even make or buy blue macaroons, or use blue cupcake wrappers for little cakes.
