We had a cancellation/delay on our Jet2 Bristol-Skaithos flight a couple of weeks ago. Due to fly Sunday but ended up going Monday instead. We only had 3 nights of what should have been a 4 night quickie but Im not holding it against them!
Apparently the previous flight was late returning and the crew were over hours. From what I can gather we were the first flight this year to be cancelled so it was clearly a learning experience for staff.Communication & management of expectations as well as timely food vouchers would have been welcome. We waited about 8 hours for overnight hotel and when we arrived at said hotel there were no rooms for us Eventually we were accommodated elsewhere but boy were we tired and hungry ! The following morning we were expecting taxis to collect us and return to the airport as advised. Unfortunately there were not enough sent for the 30ish people, I eventually got through on the phone a nice lady arranged more taxis just in time to make our flight Definitely a lesson in managing adversity for us all The jet2 staff we encountered were pleasant and helpful particularly on the flights, its just one of those things and I would fly with Jet2 again as out of all carriers they do seem to get positive feedback. |

Flew to Alicante last week jet2 used the twilight checkin at Newcastle, no queue whatsoever so in/out in 5 mins
next morning left hotel room & were enjoying a early breakfast 30 mins later, including the time taken to park the car & pass through security both flights bang ontime & no issues |

Well my last trip with jet2 was not so great. I had already booked another trip for September with them so I really hope they raise their game. It’s water under the bridge now but communication was poor.

Just to report back that we flew with Jet2 to Reus a couple of weeks ago and everything went fine and Jet2 were great. Planes were on time and the staff were friendly.
The queue for dropping off our suitcases at Manchester airport was incredibly long but did move quickly - so it wasn’t as bad as it first seemed.

We’re in portugal, flew with jet2 from Glasgow. I have to say they’ve got a great system in place there. So smooth. We’ve also flown with them from Edinburgh several times over the years. Definitely my preferred choice for short haul. Great crew on board also. Had a couple of flights cancelled in covid. No messing with refunds.
