DVC Villa Availability Tables are updated

I’ve updated my DVC Villa Availability Tables to show vacancies by week for the last 4 years for every DVC Accommodation. Here’s the link:

The tables show the past average consecutive days free to book for a specific accommodation for a week over the last 4 years. These are the same availability numbers you see when you book a unit on the DVC website for a week. The numbers are color-coded in traditional red /green light formatting, with green being the most available. If the number is seven, then all days are available. Any amount less will represent some tightness in availability.

Each of the remaining columns gives you a snapshot of what your vacation booking availability might look like at intervals as you get closer to your vacation day. The data is captured at each of the intervals listed for a seven-day vacation starting Sunday. For each interval, the snapshot is taken immediately before the reservation window opens at 8 a.m. EST. If you are booking your home resort at eleven months, the number shown in the eleven-month field is what you would see as available days for your vacation. The matching historical week number and 2022 and 2023 dates are listed.

1 Month Before* 07.03.2018--07.09.2022

* During the COVID pandemic, some reservations' booking patterns were distorted as DVC relaxed its cancelation policy. The 5-month, 3-month, and 1-month bookings were impacted most by this temporary policy change. Data collected for the following weeks were not used in the above availability tables: 5-months- August 23, 2020-August 21, 2021; 3-months-June 28, 2020-June 26, 2021; and 1-month- April 26, 2020-April 24, 2021.
