Within an hour of Heathrow?

We're taking our daughter to Heathrow this weekend. She flies out to Austin TX on Sunday. She's arriving back on Monday 25th July.

We have booked a hotel to stay the night before she flies, but we had intended to drive down to pick her up and home on the same day.

After some thought, we realised 12+ hours driving, leaving home at around 4am is just going to be a killer.

So, we're thinking of driving down, from North Wales on Sunday 24th July, and hubby and I will stay in a hotel within an hour or so of Heathrow, and then go from there on Monday 25th July to pick up our daughter, who should be landing around 9.40am (I think).

However, we have absolutely no idea about that area at all so I thought I'd ask all you lovely knowledgeable Dibbers!

For work, I know all the service stations and budget hotels we regularly use for our drivers, but that's not really what we're after.

It's a 6 ish hour drive from Anglesey and I imagine we'll head down the M40 towards Heathrow. Aiming to be there mid-afternoon ish.

So we'll need -
* Something within an hour or so from Heathrow
* As little city driving as possible with easy parking
* Something that won't break the bank but prepared for maybe £150-200 to be a bit better than PI or Travelodge!
* On site restaurant, or easy drive, or short walking distance for food - nothing fancy, decent pub grub suits us!

Oh! I forgot. We have a plug in hybrid car, so it'd be a plus if there's a charging point, but not a deal breaker.

Please help

Oh I was coming on to say the premier inn but then saw you didn't want to stay there!
I'm not sure on what's around if I'm honest, I guess if you're willing to travel for about an hour though it doesn't matter which terminal she will be flying into so you could look into! Further away the cheaper it could be aswell!
I realise this is no help at all, sorry! 🙈

For one night, I’d book a premier inn. They seem comparable or even better to many a U.K. hotel that I’ve stayed in previously for double the cost.

Have you thought of looking at Windsor, it's a lovely little town, some walking on the Great Park. I don't have a specific hotel but you could look at Expedia.

We stayed at the Hampton by Hilton at High Wycombe last week when we drove down to Wimbledon. It is a new hotel so is lovely and clean and is right next to a Waitrose and John Lewis. Breakfast is included and parking was £6 for 24 hours.
The hotel did serve food but we got an Uber into Marlow( £9) and had a meal and it was a lovely place.
Edited to add: There is a park and ride next to the hotel too and buses that go to and from Heathrow airport if it would be easier for your DD to hop on the bus straight to you.

Sorry forgot about the re-charging point. Unfortunately, they do not have one.

Thanks everyone, lots of places to look at.

Hubby and I don't get any time without the kids (I say kids - they're 16/18/21) usually, and it's my 18 year old we're picking up from Heathrow, so we were just thinking to make it a bit easier on us, but have a nice evening.
