Extra evening hours

Hi all. I’m just wondering what anyone’s experience is with the extra evening hours? Appreciate this is not specific to DVC as it’s available to all deluxe resort guests.

We went to Epcot last night and it was absolutely rammed. I’m wondering if we should have persevered but we left after a short time because it was so busy.

We did EPCOT and MK at Christmas. Definitely not the same as After Hours but was much quieter than it had been during the day... Hoping to go again in the summer but am worried they have become more popular!

We went in Epcot at 10.30 after returning from our ADR and it took 30 mins for test track, they let everyone on in the queue til the queue closed at 11pm . We took photos of the Ball all lit up after, then walked out of the park at 11.30.

We did lots of extra magic hours at Epcot and Magic Kingdom at Christmas.

Absolutely loved it…my favourite time to go is always when it’s quieter in the evenings. Great memory of eating Yorkshire County Fish and chips overlooking World Showcase at midnight with my eldest daughter.

I hope they extend them to Animal Kingdom and Hollywood Studios.

Regarding queues for rides, many were walk ons or near enough but some rides were closed. Only some food food places remained open late too.
