Sapphire Falls walking to parks/VB

Staying here in September.

Could anyone please tell me about walking to volcano bay from here? Do you have to walk across the bridge to Cabana Bay, or is there a “back gate” at Aventura you can use?

Also seem to recall seeing reports of people “shortcutting” via Royal Pacific on the walk to or from City Walk - is this right or have I imagined it?

Any general advice on sapphire falls must appreciated too 🙂

If you turn left out of the SF lobby and head towards Aventura you pick up signs for "walking path to Volcano Bay"

I didn't actually walk that way myself as we were at Cabana Bay but there were plenty of people in their swimmers walking back.

It's also a nice walk down the path to city walk - especially early morning.

At Royal Pacific the walking path seems to split both sides of the waterway so you can probably do a shortcut... don't know how though - sorry

You can definitely get to Volcano Bay from Aventura and there is a gate at the back of Aventura Pool … out there and you are more or less at VB entrance.
Could you get back in using your SF keycard ?
Pretty sure there is a walking route to the parks although we tended to use the boat.
We like SF and the pool is very nice .. if you are staying a couple of days it’s worth buying the refill mug for soft drinks around the pool. Also worth walking over to Aventura to check out the roof top bar .. fantastic views. We had a nice meal in the restaurant on ground floor of SF - Amatista Cookhouse.

Aventura rooftop is definitely on the list to do - we planned it for our last day last trip but didn’t realise it only opened late in the day!

To walk to citywalk via RPR go down to the boat dock, go past it and the the path talks you to RPR where you pick up the path to citywalk from there. It took us around 10 minutes to get to security.

How long is walk from CB to SF/Aventura ? would like to know how and where to pick up boat to parks ?

The official walk is around 7/8 minutes, up the road and over the bridge or you can jaywalk and it's around 1 minute across the road

CBBR is literally opposite Aventura & Sapphire Falls but there's no proper crossing there, there are traffic lights though, I crossed by myself a few times, I wouldn't do it with kids in tow obviously.

If you’re getting the boat, at busier times it can be quicker to get the boat to/from RPR and walk from there than from SF - the SF boats can fill up with guests from Aventura and CB.

That is an excellent tip, I will keep in mind for our upcoming stay at SF
