Uber XL Tampa to Orlando
Hiya!
Starting to panic a little, we go next week and had planned to get an uber xl from Tampa to Orlando. I'm now starting to worry not many Ubers will want to travel out of their local area?! Or will it be fine? And will an Uber XL definitely be big enough for 4 passengers 3 cases and 4 hand luggage? Feeling like a total novice again after 3 years of not travelling! Also, I've tried all night to see if hiring a car for a day would work better but I just can't get anything that works without picking up or dropping off the car at an airport which won't really work for us as we are hoping to get one from hotel to hotel. It will be quite pricey. I'm flying into Tampa too and had checked out Tampa airport transfers and it looks like $180 one way. It might be best to hire a car. Try Andy at Discount Florida Car Hire (the link is on the yellow post-it banner right at the top of this page). I priced up a day car hire with pick-up from Tampa airport and drop-off at Disney Car Centre the next day and it works out about £89; plus you can probably squeeze in a shop for essentials before returning the car hire

Just had a look and could get an Uber XL from my house near Animal Kingdom to Tampa Airport for $115. It is 7:30 pm. XL shows 6 passengers so you should be fine.

We've booked AVIS Preferred via their website and Quidco:
Collect Tampa TPA at 17:30 and drop off the next day Universal Cabana Bay at 15:30. £70.20. On the way back, collect Cabana Bay 08:30 and drop the same day TPA 16:30. £48.20 That's for a 'Kia Soul' class car. |

We are in a similar position. I booked via gettransfer and had quotes from a variety of drivers. I choose one with good rating and reasonable price. We are having 3 nights in tampa then transfer to orlando. Have not used before but paid via cc so protected if we do have issues.

Thank you, I'm not sure how to get it to say Universal it says there's no location matching that - I always find this with car hire quotes it's a nightmare.

Thank you I've tried Andy a few times (for whole trip, a few days, half the holiday etc) but can never get close to a price I'm happy with. Everyone else seems to be able to!
