What, no coffee first thing...

I think it'll be a quick drop in to WAWA or similar on the way to the villa just for the basics.

Cheers all - Mick, what's up with U.S instant coffee?

We are easily pleased simple Yorkshire folk who just like Nescafe. Large jar in Tesco £4 when you spot the offer - $10 and more in the Walmart international aisle. Tried American brands over the years but not to our taste.

I have experienced posts telling me my 76 year old palate isn't very sophisticated. You might imagine my reply.

We had the same experience but with sausage rolls! He was most amused as he’d said until he’d confiscated one,he’d never seen one, and still didn’t understand what it was 🤣

I don't no, we do have a big box of PG tips in our owners locker though for DH (I only drink coffee). We both are very happy with the Joffrey's coffee that we know is in the room.

I wish I'd taken some coffee when staying at Cabana Bay recently though, the stuff masquerading as coffee in that room should be banned!

Yes to Tea & Coffee ( we don’t take sugar as don’t have it in drinks, but if we did I’d take some).

We’ve bought coffee in the US before, but haven’t found one that we like. I usually take one of the coffee refill bags rather than a jar (saves a bit of weight and no chance of breakage)

Just teabags for the wife. I forego my decaf Coffee and decaf Tea on vacation.

It is not sufficiently important that I bother. Those Teabags are the only food/drink stuff that we have ever taken into the USA.

I can wait for my Coffee Tea (or any other UK food or beverage until I return home. To us, taking U.K. products to a foreign Country would be akin to visiting Greece, Canaries, Balearics or similar.. then entering a British Bar, Irish Bar, Full English Breakfast Place or anything similar. If an establishment is displaying a Union Jack or similar.. then there is no chance of our entering, when abroad.
When in Rome, we generally eat what the Romans eat as for us, that is part of why we are there!

I want to leave my ‘British quirks’ in Britain.
