My daughter had £146 and I had £123. My youngest had a smash pot that fell off her bookshelf so we gave her a money box you could get into. She’s started high school last year and walking with her friends- there is sweet shop round the corner. She only had £35 in hers and admitted she’s been dipping in for the sweet shop in the way home 🙄😂 just goes to show the sealed jars definitely work!

Yes I think the concept works well in that you can’t dip in but also you don’t know how much is in there so keep adding, well we did anyway.

Wow that’s an amazing amount, what a lovely surprise.

I never have cash so a jar would be wasted but Back to revolut ..: I did start to use the savings feature where you set it to save money every time you use your card…. I have mine on my phone so tap it a good bit. I set the savings to multiple the change by two (rounds up to the next euro) and was amazed and how quickly a holiday fund added up

I do this, but on starling.

Every time I make a transaction on starling it rounds it up to the nearest £ and saves it in my savings fund!

we had ours going for 2 years, £2 and £20 notes, had just over £700 in it

I feel like my £60 campervan was a poor effort now! I put in any change I find around the house, mainly the washing machine and odd coins from the floor! Even a couple of pounds in copper coins! I'll put those in the machines on the pier! 🤣
