Do I have to use mobile ordering for food?
Staying at pofq, not a fan of mobile ordering as like to see the food first, except if just having burgers or something, so can I still order at the counter the old fashioned way?

Mobile ordering is much more convienient way to get your food and normally always quicker than queuing up at a register

At universal currently and not long ago there where reports they where only allowing mobile order at certain places. This is correctly is not happening and does not seem any issue with people ordering at the till. I Have been using mobile order where I can. but for example yesterday in the Today Cafe more people where queuing to order than where picking up Mobile orders.

I dont mind mobile ordering if I know whar I want, but in the hotel for example I like to look at the food and see what takes my fancy lol

The POFQ food court (Sassagoula Floatworks) is great. I highly recommend the jambalaya in particular. If you like cakes the Mardi Gras King Cake is yummy and is available all the time, not just at Mardi Gras. I shall be eating both 5 weeks today 😁

You can do both. You can have a look and see what you fancy and if the queue is big do a mobile order. The mobile order menu doesn’t have everything though.

You can, however we found on our trip in December it is strongly discouraged
Most qs we went to had one till open for those not using mobile ordering which got really long queues Definitely a huge push for everyone to mobile order

Also to add, when we went to ABC Commissary you couldn’t get in unless your order was ready and I didn’t see an option for paying at the till.
