Best cabin sized hand luggage?

Been looking to invest in a really good cabin sized suitcase type bag to take as hand luggage. We have one small hard shell case which will be fine for DS but wanted to invest in another one for myself as the amount of issues with lost luggage seems to be SUCH a regular occurrence since we've come out of lockdown. Prepared to spend up to £200 and thought I'd found one I was happy with on Samsonite website... then read the reviews of them as a company on Trustpilot and other similar type review sites that REALLY shocked and disgusted me in equal measure. Anyone had any good experiences with buying a decent hand luggage case please? TIA!

It’s not a premium suggestion, but I have these cabin size cases which we’ve used a few times so far which have been really good.

They are the max size without being heavy so you can fit more in with your allowance. Total weight is 1.56kg

I think they also do 8 wheel variations which are even easier to pull but weighs a little more.

(Not sure if it’s still in stock in this shop I’ve just used the print screen from my order, sorry)

As said, Tripp website, or IT via Matalan.
£200? A bit extreme.

£200 is my limit. I know premium brands can be higher price than that and I figured if I gave an indication of my budget then anyone who is a fan of the higher end of the scale would know I can't afford to go over my limit. Highly appreciative of any and all recommendations though thanks 👍

I have 2 x Disney American Tourister cabin cases which we have taken to Florida x 3 and New York, with no issues. They're hard shell and can get a fair bit in them. I have paid 3 x days worth of clothes in them for us in packing pods just incase there are any issues. I can't remember how much I paid for them, but I have seen them in Costco & Tesco for around £50-60 each.

Have a look at the Antler Clifton. Hard side but with a pocket so you can access stuff like a tablet easily. £199 but you can get 10% off your first purchase.

Second the American Tourister cases, they’re great. Can get them on Amazon or direct. Made by Samsonite

We also have Samsonite spinner cases, great bits of luggage but they are quite heavy to start with, so I wouldn't use a cabin cases.
