Kids meals at Disney

A friend of mine was wondering if any Adults had ordered the kids meals at Quick Service and if the portion was okay or is it really small and defo designed for a child?
I think she was looking to save a few dollars where she could, they’re staying offsite in a Villa so are eating a few meals there.
Thanks 😊

If your friend likes peanut butter sandwiches she will be ok🤣

The chicken tenders and pizza meals are best options and adults can definitely purchase kids meals at quick serve

Stitchesmumanddad has a $20 a day thread on here in July with only kids meals and lots look fine portion size to me. The Mickey check options are limited to 600 cals I think.

They're fine for me, plus with the money saved from buying an adult meal, I can get get an ice cream or sweet treat afterwards

Some places don't offer much choice, but they're getting better and the 'Mickey check' meals are normally healthier and not the standard PB&J sandwiches, pizza, burger or chicken tenders options. You get 2 sides and a drink with them too which I like, especially as they often have fruit as one of the side options.

I had lots of kids meals and there was more than enough food.

There are some really good options too, it’s not all just chicken tenders and chips etc.

Thanks all for the replies, I’ll let her know that they seem a good option.
They sound value for money if you get a drink and 2 sides with them as well.
