I have a video of my daughter when she was about 6 ( shes 40 now) sat on the doorstep sobbing " I want to go to the pub" we still laugh about it now

Thats so funny! When we lived in Ireland, we used to take the kids to the pub on Friday evening, and they would play with the other kids... lol

There was an unwritten rule that all kids out by 7/7.30, but it was completely normal and acceptable. The barman would allow my eldest in behind the bar to 'arrange' the juice/mixer bottles!
